Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Assist the physical therapist in providing patient care and treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities under the supervision of the physical therapist
• Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes
• Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Experience in home health setting preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Skills:

• Proficiency in providing patient care and implementing treatment plans
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assess patient conditions accurately
• Familiarity with medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
