  • What are the benefits of physical therapy?

Physical therapy can help in many different ways such as eliminating or reducing pain, improving your balance, preventing falls, developing better mobility, managing other age-related issues, as well as recovering from injuries, surgery, stroke, or illness. At Botkin Rehab Services, we focus on maximizing your functional independence and improving your overall quality of life.

  • Do you see your patients in a clinic or at their homes?

We are happy to provide our patients with both options for their physical therapy depending on what is best for them! Botkin Rehab Services has a clinic where patients can come to receive therapy in an open space with top-of-the-line equipment, or we can bring the therapy to our patients wherever they are for the most convenient, one-on-one attention.

  • What insurance do you accept?

We accept the following insurance plans:

    • Aetna Insurance Plans
    • Anthem
    • Molina Healthcare
    • Medicare
    • Medicare Advantage
    • MediGold
    • Medicaid
    • VA Community Care Network

Many insurances accept out-of-network care, so even if your insurance is not on this list, please ask us. Botkin Rehab Services is committed to making our services accessible to as many patients as possible.

  • Do you need a doctor’s referral to see a physical therapist?

No, in Ohio under the Direct Access legislation, physical therapy patients can get evaluations and treatments directly from a licensed physical therapist (PT) without obtaining a doctor's prescription or referral. This means anyone can visit Botkin Rehab Services whenever they want to start their journey to better health.
